DISPATCH

A Space Logistics Company

About Us

Dispatch Space Technologies is a space logistics company started by Payton Case and Andrew Mello that provides high-cadence, reliable reentry logistics from space

Vision

The International Space Station has been the cradle of microgravity research and manufacturing for over two decades. As it nears retirement, the paradigm has shifted. Breakthroughs in robotics, edge computing, and adaptive AI allow us to rethink the architecture of spacecraft. We can finally strip away the overhead of human-centric habitats to dedicated, cargo-focused infrastructure. Dispatch is building the industrial layer: autonomous, scalable, and built for output.

Phase 1: Reentry Vehicles

Dispatch is starting with the reusable, autonomous reentry vehicles designed for mass manufacturing. The vehicle operates both as a free flyer, operating microgravity payloads independently, and a cargo delivery vehicle to and from space stations. After returning to Earth, the heat shield protecting the payload and reusable bus is replaced and the vehicle is ready to fly again.

Phase 2: Uncrewed Space Stations

To scale, we anchor permanent infrastructure in orbit. The station serves as a shared utility grid, allowing payloads to leverage massive power without carrying the weight of their own support systems. We are building 25 kW Uncrewed Space Stations designed from day one for "lights-out" manufacturing serviced by the return vehicles. By automating the facility, we unlock efficiency impossible on conventional platforms. We direct power where it's needed most: supporting payloads like bio-reactors, semiconductor crystal growth furnaces, and servers.

We are constructing the infrastructure that allows the space economy to scale. From the reliable return of biological samples to the mass production of next-gen semiconductors, Dispatch provides the power, the platform, and the path home.

Dispatch is based in San Francisco, California
